Pure hand-drawn 2D cartoon animation only — absolutely no 3D. Ever. 24fps on ones, 16:9. Every line breathes with subtle hand-drawn imperfections. A young adventurous boy rides a flying paper airplane over a vibrant seaside town during sunset. The camera stays closely behind his back the entire time — we see his shoulders, messy hair, fragile paper wings, and the world opening ahead.
His loose sky-blue scarf whips toward the camera with fully hand-drawn cloth physics, every fold unique. His messy dark hair flies wildly in the wind with exaggerated cartoon motion. The wind itself appears as flowing white and pale-blue hand-drawn brush strokes swirling around him and trailing behind the plane.
He glides between pastel seaside buildings with wooden balconies, flower pots, and laundry lines. As he passes, shutters burst open in a domino effect and curtains fly outward. Each window releases glowing golden sunset light that hits the camera, forming hand-drawn 2D lens flares and floating dust particles.
The town below is alive — fishermen point upward, children run through streets, seagulls scatter, cats leap across rooftops, and market flags whip in the wind he leaves behind.
Suddenly colorful festival banners stretch across the street. He tries to dodge by pulling the paper plane upward, but the sudden slowdown throws his body forward. He bursts through a banner — a red cloth wraps over his face while ribbons tangle around the wing.
He wobbles on the fragile plane, gripping with one hand while pulling the cloth away with the other. His head shakes left-right-left with exaggerated squash and stretch animation, neck stretching comically and eyes spinning briefly.
Finally he yanks the cloth free. It flies away in the wind. His face appears messy and annoyed — teeth clenched and brows furrowed — then he exhales with relief.
He leans forward and accelerates again, hand-drawn speed lines rushing around him. A clock tower appears suddenly — he brakes hard and sharply banks around it, barely missing the bricks.
Another obstacle appears — a string of lanterns. He flattens himself against the paper plane as they pass inches above his head. One final banner swings into his path; he twists and slides underneath, but a tiny ribbon lands on his nose and he flicks it away in irritation.
Every acceleration stretches his body backward, scarf and hair whipping violently. Every stop throws him forward. Every turn bends the plane dramatically.
The environment is painted in soft watercolor textures — glowing orange and pink skies, terracotta rooftops, emerald trees, and violet shadows with layered parallax depth. Warm golden sunset light washes over everything as seagulls cross the glowing horizon.
Pure 2D. Hand-drawn. No 3D. Ever.
