A young witch flies on a broom over an ancient European town at golden hour. The camera stays tight behind her back as the town opens ahead. Her dark purple cloak whips directly into camera, animated with hand-drawn cloth physics. Her long messy brown hair lashes wildly in all directions with expressive independent strands. She flies between narrow stone buildings with flower pots, red tiled roofs, and climbing greenery. Hand-drawn wind lines split around her body and curl into small vortices behind her. As she passes windows, her wind blasts shutters open in a domino chain. White curtains burst outward. Golden sunlight flashes through the glass and creates hand-drawn 2D lens bloom with glowing dust. The town below reacts. People point upward, hats blow away, rooftop cats jump, pigeons explode into flocks, leaves spiral through her wake, and laundry lines whip violently. Suddenly laundry lines cross her path. She tries to dodge. She brakes hard. Her body lurches forward over the broom from the sudden deceleration while her legs lift backward. Too late. She bursts through the first line. A large white shirt catches on her face and completely covers it. A sheet wraps around her body. A sock dangles from the broom. She wobbles on the broom - one leg kicked sideways, one hand gripping tightly, the other yanking wildly at the shirt covering her face. Angry muffled words bubble under the fabric. Her head jerks right-left-right in exaggerated hand-drawn motion with extreme squash and stretch. Her neck elongates with each shake. Her eyes briefly spin when the shirt lifts. She pulls hard. The shirt flies off her face. Her face is revealed: messy hair, comic fury, clenched teeth, burning eyes, deeply furrowed brows - then a long exhale and visible relief. She straightens herself on the broom, leans forward, grips tightly, and accelerates. Hand-drawn speed lines stream around her. A building suddenly appears ahead. She brakes sharply. Her body and broom compress forward. She banks hard around it, shoulder nearly scraping the wall, then snaps back to a straight path and accelerates again. A shop sign appears overhead. She flattens herself low against the broom as the sign passes mere centimeters above her head. Another laundry line appears. This time she twists her body and narrowly passes beneath it at the last moment. A single sock catches on her nose. She flicks it away irritably. Pure 2D hand-drawn traditional animation with hand-painted watercolor backgrounds. Tight rear-follow shot locked close behind the young witch's back for the entire sequence. Camera shows her shoulders, her hair, the broom, the world opening ahead of her. Continuous tracking shot following directly behind her. Occasional hand-drawn 2D lens bloom when sunlight bursts through opened windows. With every acceleration, her body stretches backward, hair and cloak are pushed back harder, hand-drawn speed lines intensify. With every sudden slowdown, her body is thrown forward, hair wraps across her face, cloak folds inward over her back. With every turn, the broom bends, her body leans into the turn, her legs tuck and react expressively.
